29th Annual Gator Day Gathering
2004

June 5, 2004at The Daytona International Speedway
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm.

This was our 29th Annual Gator Gathering.....a great time we all look forward to, to renew old friendships and
start new ones. We had live music. Food was great--Bar B Que with all the fixins provided by our own
Tommy "Touchdown" Durrance and Brian's Bar-B-Q from Deland.
Plenty of free refreshments too, beer-soda-water!

Lots of Gator Vendors to satisfy that need for the latest Gator shirt, early Christmas present or just to add to
your collection. Plenty of Gators were able to get an autograph from Coach Zook.
We had 3 lucky Gators who won the raffle tickets for the chance to win
2004 Season Football game tickets, the annual Florida-Georgia game tickets and Arkansas home
football game and the 50/50 raffle, both will help support our Scholarship Fund.
Plenty of participants Competed in the Punt & Pass competition.

We had a young Gator area for our Kids to visit and get their faces painted and get some neat
fake Gator tattoos to show everyone their Gator spirit.

We recognized some of the most outstanding Volusia County High School Students with our annual
Club Scholarships......including the prestigious "Tommy Durrance Scholarship".
The winners of the scholarships are as follows:

We presented the "President's Award"...to a very deserving Chris Kelly. Chris has done a
fantastic job of coordinating the FYI (Florida's Young & Involved) part of our club.
Chris is very active at our Board meetings and never seems to shy away from
any task we ask of him....Thanks Chris and congratulations!

Ticket prices for this year's event:
Member Adult: $15.00 in advance or $15.00 at the gate
Non-Member Adult: $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the gate
Children under 12: $5.00
