30th Annual Gator Day Gathering
2005

June 4, 2005 at The Daytona International Speedway
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm.

This was our 30th Annual Gator Day Gathering.....a great time we all look forward to, to renew old friendships and
start new ones.  We had live music from Tommy Brown. A great Bar-B-Que was had by all. 
Plenty of free refreshments too, beer-soda-water!

A record crowd was in attendance----1,300 strong! 

Lots of Gator Vendors to satisfy that need for the latest Gator shirt, early Christmas present or just to add to
your collection. Coach Meyer signed autograph's for over 90 minutes. 

We had a raffle drawing for two tickets for the following games:

2005 Home Season Football games,
The Home opener vs. Wyoming on Sept 3rd,
and the Nov 5th game vs. Vandy

The ever popular 50/50 raffle,
all of these raffles will help support our Scholarship Fund.

  Punt & Pass was not held this year due to track renovations in the area it was to be held-sorry!.

We also had a young Gator area for our young Gators to visit and get their faces painted and
get some neat fake Gator tattoos to show everyone their Gator spirit.

We recognized some of the most outstanding Volusia County High School Students with our annual
Club Scholarships......including the prestigious "Tommy Durrance Scholarship". 

This year's Scholarship winners are:

 Member Adult:  $15.00 in advance or $15.00 at the gate
Non-Member Adult:  $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the gate
Children under 12:  $5.00
